This code can be broken and personal information can be hacked or accessed as well.
There is indeed a possibility of abuse of medical records. In fact this is happening in the United States as well and all those who are found and proven guilty in this respect are definitely charged and punished.

These medical records contain important information for doctors and medical practitioners as well. Although, there is quite low a probability that the medical records should be abused blatantly since they are created over software that is hard to break in.
The only misuse aspect of these medical records is that they are exposed to some sort of misuse in case the patient’s personal information is leaked out or is used or changed purposefully.
The actual problem lies in the fact that medical billing procedures are exposed to a number of software that have become increasingly complex to use. The real danger lies in the fact that the software systems that have been developed today are so complex and complicated to use that it has created a situation where these medical records can be easily abused. What actually happens is that false claims can be submitted against certain records to insurance companies. This act usually takes place as more and more complicated procedures are introduced into the medical billing system.
On the whole, medical billing process can be held free from all types of frauds and information modification by resorting to more permanent software. The professionals also need to take care in this regard and make sure that the coded information is not misused anywhere or is not infiltrated by anyone.
At all times, when the medical billing information is processed, special consideration should be given to retaining the permanent kind of software that is to be used in the future.
