Health is such a wealth that has no replacement; monetary loss can be compensated in a number of ways but regaining health is not an easy task especially when this loss is major and sudden. Health however, is an accumulation of healthy choices and habits. Little steps and acts create the snowball effect laying the foundation of a sound health. Here is a ‘tip wise’ head to toe analysis of your body that won’t break the bank in bestowing this greatest wealth:
- Take a balanced diet that is rich in essential nutrients like carbohydrates, protein, essential fatty acids, essential amino acids, fiber and minerals. It should be according to your gender and age and weight.
- Maintain your weight as per your height. A BMI of more than 25 is alarming and life threatening if it exceeds 30.
- Enjoy doing household chores for they can be a real blessing in disguise. Research proves it is the best sort of exercise to shed the sluggish fat.
- Brush your teeth twice a day. Oral health is of great implication and a defining factor for your health.
- Floss your teeth after every meal. It will inhibit the growth of plaque causing bacteria that pose dangers to your overall health.
- Drink about 2 liter of water daily. Increase the intake if you smoke and take caffeine and carbonated drinks so often.
- Reduce the intake of caffeine and carbonated drinks as this way essential nutrients are lost.

- Stop using saturated fats; replace it with healthy unsaturated fats.
