Health is considered as the biggest wealth as one can enjoy all the blessings as long as one is healthy enough to enjoy them. It is due to the importance of health near one individual that makes most of the health related professions most highly paid and recession proof. So it is of prime importance that individual should know how the health industry works and what opportunities lie there to explore. Moreover, the new techniques, therapies and medicine make you well aware about the advancement of diseases that are once considered untreatable.

Here under we will discuss the current happenings that are taking place in today’s world. In modern world the external pressures like the electing of new governing bodies in political scenario, the new president and the senate, financial Realtors, the Information Technology companies to extend and cater the health industry by optimizing many standard procedures and the need to reduce the administration staff, expectations from consumers and research advancement in health technology have huge effects on the health industry as it appears today.

As the services health industry provides are necessary evil the recession and the global economic conditions does not affect them the way as they affect other sectors. Perhaps that’s the reason company still invests in the health sector without any risk and it remains to be a profitable sector. The health sector never seems to compromise on the quality of the product and services as it don’t only effects the investment of a person but also one’s life is at stake.

Although the people still invested in the sector and it proved to be profitable but as the recession has affected the purchasing power of individuals so people are omitting their tests, elective therapies and in critical circumstances of lack of resources they are even skipping their medicinal courses. Thus it resulted in decrease of buying services such as out door treatment of patients, elective surgeries and other less important pharmacy related products. The other effects that have badly influenced the health sector are decreased investment by the insurance companies in the health sector, lesser funds and donations available to run charity hospitals so hospitals have to suffer from debt that results in compromised services and quality of services offered.

The increased interruption by government in the channels through which medicines are distributed face the challenge of monitoring and regulating by government forces that result in decreased revenue and profit. Due to lesser money the medicines have removed patents and are moving from specific to generic and decreased prices that ultimately results in lesser investment in the new product development and research.

Poor living conditions have triggered the epidemics that results in increased need of immunization and the usage of vaccines. The government regulatory and monitoring bodies are taking special interest in drugs and medicines and it is due to the fact that health industries have made the prices economical because government is supporting the healthy life style for everyone.

On the other hand technology is playing its part well from tests to medicines all information can be accessed on Internet and the induction of technology in everything has make all tests more convenient for consumers.
